Sure, there are tons of 6 and 7 figure coaches that already have 3-6 trademarks in their arsenal but it’s not too late for you!

Well, let me ask you this...when you need plumbing work done around the house, which option would you take? 

1. Fix it yourself 
2. Hire a run of the mill handyman and/or ask your friend that is “good at lots of things”
3. Hire a professional plumber

I often get asked why people should hire a trademark attorney when they *can* just do the application themselves.  True, you can.  But just like I didn’t go to school to be a plumber, most people didn’t go to law school.

I’m the type of person who would hire a professional because I don’t know what the hell I’m doing (and I don’t want to flood my entire house).  That is how most people without a legal background end up walking into a trademark application and then likely getting it very screwed up such that they end up hiring a professional in the end anyway. 

You would think that Harry and Meghan aka His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex & Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex would know better than to hire her "Hollywood Lawyer" for such an important trademark filing.  Their application got rejected for simple things like not signing it properly or paying the right fees! 👀

This lawyer may have been one step up from doing it themselves but still, investing in a trademark attorney probably would have been the way to go! (just like I wouldn’t be my own attorney in a giant real estate transaction).
